Why is drinking juice better than eating fruits and vegetables?
Juices are the fastest and easiest way for the body to absorb the nutrients it needs to feed and detoxify itself.*
Juicing removes the fiber and cellulose tissue and leaves us with pure water and nutrients. All the nutrients in juice are instantly available for moving into the blood and, in fact, they’re completely taken up within 10-20 minutes of drinking them.*
What sets Joseph and David apart?
The best juice for your body are juices made from fresh organic produce and never pasteurized using heat or HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization). Pasteurization heats up the juice to high temperatures that kill most of the precious nutrients and enzymes found in fresh fruits and vegetables.
At Joseph and David we only use organic produce that is packed with nutrients. And we never pasteurize our juice to ensure that they stay packed with all the nutrients your body deserves. We then extract the juice using a hydraulic press, which applies 1000 pounds of pressure to the produce extracting the most nutrients possible. This cold pressed method ensures top quality taste and nutrition.
Why Cold Pressed?
Cold pressed juice never comes in contact with heat during the juicing process. This is the only way to ensure that the juice retains the highest amount of nutrients and enzymes possible.
Other methods of juicing involve slight heating that is caused by fast spinning blades which causes the juice to oxidize, or spoil, very quickly. The heat also kills some of the nutrients and enzymes present in the fruits or vegetables.
We only extract our juice using the latest cold pressed juicer available, so you can enjoy the freshest and healthiest juice available on the market.
How long does my juice last?
Our juice stays fresh unopened for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
If you don’t plan on drinking your juice right away just store your juice in the freezer as soon as possible. When you are ready to enjoy it be sure to defrost the juice at room temperature for 4-5 hours.
Is it a good idea to replace a meal with one of Joseph and David juices?
Detoxification is your body’s process of cleaning and removing waste and toxin buildup that result from breathing and eating.
When the toxins build up faster than the body can remove them, our bodily systems start to slow and struggle resulting in many modern ailments (such as headaches, lack of energy, inability to focus, excess weight, etc.).*
When you drink juice as a meal replacement, you are giving your body the nutrients it needs in the purest form possible, letting your bodily systems focus on cleaning and removing toxins that have built up over time. That will leave you feeling cleaner and lighter than before.*
What is a juice cleanse?
A juice cleanse is any amount of time which you decide you give your body a break from incoming food and drink that require a lot of work to digest. You then replace your meals with fresh organic juice.
Our juices are the purest form of nutrients requiring nearly no effort at all from your bodily systems. During this time your body will focus on cleaning and removing toxins that have built up and overloaded your systems.*
You will feel the results as soon as your are done the cleanse.*

How often should I cleanse?
How often you should cleanse varies for each person based on their goals and preferences. Here are a few options that work well:
- Do a 3 day cleanse once every season. You can keep it up by doing a 1 day cleanse once a week.
- Do a 3 day cleanse once every month. Then, as maintenance, replace one meal a day with a bottle of juice.
- Once you feel comfortable with a 3 day cleanse, you can try the 5 day cleanse for a much deeper cleanse that will really allow your body to cleanse an detox itself.
Remember: There are no rules when it comes to cleansing. You should cleanse at a rate that you are comfortable with.
Also keep in mind that you are not committing yourself to a long term program, and you can try a 3 or 1 day cleanse and take it from there.
Feel free to Contact Us with your specific goals and one of our knowledgeable staff will help design a program tailored to your needs.
Note: There are people who should not cleanse. Children under 18, diabetics, pregnant mothers, someone taking prescription medication for heart disease, and someone with a history of a serious illness should check with their doctors before cleansing. People in this category can benefit from adding juices to their diet without restricting solid food intake.
